Error Code F03 in the Bosch Washing Machine

The washing cycle completed successfully, but is the hatch door still locked? Incorrectly worked spin, so that the laundry is clean, but too wet? Looks like a problem with draining the water. They can occur without errors on the indicator, but when the code F03 appears on the display, your CM requires urgent attention.

What to do?

In most cases, problems with the drain are mechanical. A thorough check of the filters and hoses of the washing machine, as well as the sewage system at home, is likely to solve the problem. So what you need to check:

  • First of all - a filter for draining water. Look at the back of the machine. At the bottom right there is a cover, behind which a filter is installed. Open the lid and remove it, then rinse thoroughly under running water with high pressure. This operation must be carried out from time to time, regardless of whether the dangerous code is lit or for prevention;
  • Next is the drain hose. Check for kinks, bends, or damage. One extra loop here can provoke the effect of a siphon, when the water from the drum after discharge immediately returns. It also does not hurt to rinse the hose - it can clog too;
  • If the error code appeared during the first installation of the machine, you need to make sure that the drain hole is located correctly, that is, in the range from 60 centimeters to 1 meter from the floor level;
  • If everything is in order with the washing machine, blockages of the sewage system are not excluded. In this case, you should call the plumbing.
