Error code F07 in the Ariston washing machine

The time “H” has come and you need to do the washing, loaded the dirty laundry into the tank of the Ariston or Hotpoint-Ariston unit and set the mode you need, and as a result, instead of the set mode, the display shows fault F07 / F7. Such a problem may be displayed:

  • Almost immediately after selecting and setting the washing mode, while the unit does not even begin to pump water;
  • They set the washing mode, and the device only downloads and immediately drains the water, and as a result, it displays a breakdown;
  • The machine started to execute the installed program, and then stopped and displayed the DTC F 07;
  • Launched the wash, the device tried to pump water and, unable to cope with the operation, issued the abbreviation F 07.

Sometimes your machine may run a cold water wash program, and when you select heating, a stop is triggered and a malfunction is displayed.

Your device is not equipped with a display, then it will notify you and malfunctions depending on the model as follows:

  • The first Ariston Margherita models display a malfunction in the form of Morse code, due to cyclical blinks (seven blinks, then an interval of 10 seconds and a repeat of the cycle). In addition, the switch knob constantly rotates clockwise and emits characteristic sound clicks.
  • Ariston modifications AVL, AVTL, AVSL, CDE, etc. displays a malfunction by blinking indicator lights, which are responsible for additional functions. The picture is constantly blinking at a shorter interval, the indicator light for locking the door of the washing machine.
  • Hotpoint-Ariston types ARSL, ARXL, AVM and others highlight the problem due to the constant flashing of the lower indicator lights, which are responsible for locking the door, completing programs, and, of course, draining. In some versions, it is possible to glow all indicators that display additional functions and are located horizontally or vertically depending on the type.
  • Hotpoint-Ariston Aqualtis types AQSL, AQ9L, AQS0L and others notify of a F 7 malfunction due to the blinking of the indicator lamps responsible for the temperature regime.

Fault value

A malfunction with code F 07 / F 7 in the Ariston unit indicates the presence of breaks in the electrical circuit responsible for the operation of the heating element, or a breakdown in the pressure switch. In some cases, your device cannot determine if the heater is in the water, because the pressure switch cannot determine the level of water collected.

Sometimes such a malfunction can be associated with a lack of supply or the presence of water pressure.

Malfunction F07 - what needs to be done to carry out minor repairs at home without professional help

  • Software crash. You first discovered F 07, then you must force load your washing machine. To do this, disconnect it from the power supply, after a period of time, connect and restart the washing process. The problem should be fixed.
  • Network breakdown when connecting a heating element. The contact circuit must be observed, disconnect at the connection points and reconnect (from the temperature sensor responsible for heating the heater to the control board). The machine should not jump and tremble when performing the selected modes. Then such a problem will no longer be displayed.

You performed all the recommended manipulations, but, alas, the machine did not work? Then you need to seek professional help. Call the washing machine repair technician.
